Background
Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Nick Johnson treats all of his clients with the respect and dignity they deserve. Prior to representing individuals in civil matters, Nick practiced as an Assistant Public Defender in Palm Beach County, where he represented clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies, ranging from DUI to crimes punishable by life in prison. He was awarded the Best Advocate Award at the Florida Public Defender College in November 2008. Nick tried approximately 30 jury trials to verdict as an Assistant Public Defender. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from Boston University, a master’s from the University of Florida, and graduated cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law.

Nick is a Partner with Osborne & Francis, serving clients throughout the State of Florida and the United States. Nick is an experienced trial lawyer, representing people harmed by the negligence of others, with a focus on medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and general personal injury matters. Nick’s relentless commitment to achieving justice for his clients, is propelled by one of his favorite quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
Nick’s service to his community includes both his current and prior positions on various Boards of Directors, including Scholar Career Coaching, a non-profit organization assisting students in preparing for an education beyond high school. Nick currently serves on his church’s Board of Trustees.
