Background
Christina N. Brooks has a heart of service on behalf of the “least of these.” Her professional career has mirrored her passion for service. As a result of Christina’s commitment to her community, she began her professional career as a Teacher and Administrative Dean for Title 1 (minority/disadvantaged students) in Orange County Public Schools. Dedicating her time and efforts has resulted in Christina mastering essential communication and advocacy skills that have served as a basis for her career as an attorney.
Christina is a native of Orlando and a graduate of Maynard Evans High School. She is a proud graduate of Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development. Of note, while working full-time in the Public school system, Christina obtained her Master of Business Administration degree from Keller Graduate School of Management, as well as completed her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University College of Law.
Christina’s commitment to public service continued as she transitioned to the practice of Law. She began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the 9th judicial Circuit (Orange and Osceola counties). As a prosecutor, she gained valuable trial experience in County court and Circuit court having tried numerous cases to verdict. Christina also gained experience with motion practice and negotiations in her role as an Assistant State Attorney.
Having fulfilled her passion for service and building on her experience with the State Attorney’s office, Christina evolved her career path to Civil litigation by working for a nationwide Civil defense firm in Orlando, FL. Her involvement in Civil litigation culminated in Christina gaining exposure to cases involving general liability, personal injury protection (PIP) claims, investigations, insurance coverage disputes, and other issues giving rise to liability actions for personal injury.
Accomplishments
The time Christina dedicated to defending cases on behalf of corporations and insurance carriers is invaluable as it provides her with a clear understanding of how claims are assessed and valued. The indispensable knowledge gained as an Insurance Defense lawyer will result in maximum compensation for her clients as an Associate at Osborne & Francis, PLLC. To date, Christina has generated millions of dollars in settlements on behalf of injured clients.
In her free time, Christina enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, volunteering with local non-profit groups, and indulging in the foodie culture. Christina serves as a Guardian ad Litem with the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar, helping advocate for abused, abandoned, and neglected children. Christina is a member of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, P.H.A.
