Juris Education recently interviewed Carly Glaser. In the interview, she reflected on her journey to Mass Tort law and provided valuable advice to aspiring lawyers. She emphasizes that students should follow their goals and apply to any school they want to maximize their chances of acceptance.
Glaser’s motivation for becoming a lawyer was because her high school "offered a college-level business law course, which I thought sounded interesting. I ended up taking the class and absolutely loved it. We had frequent debates on different business-law-related topics and it was my favorite class I took in high school.”
As Glaser recalled her journey as a law student, she said "I wish I knew that law schools each require different documentation along with the application. Some have different essay prompts, and some ask if you’d like to do interviews. I always recommend saying yes to an interview." Students looking for a law school acceptance letter should take note of this.
Since AI is making splashes in many industries, Glaser also talked about AI’s role in law. She thinks “We’re starting to see AI more and more in the area of law as well as everywhere else.”
Juris Education launched this series of interviews with noted lawyers to help aspiring and current law students learn from the best. Glaser’s candid account of the sacrifices she’s made to become a successful attorney is an inspiration to aspiring lawyers.
